William Dye Obituary

William E. Dye, age 81, of Paris Township, passed away into eternal rest on August 19, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side. William was born on June 8, 1940 in Adams, WI, son of Lee and Emma (Vondrak) Dye.

William attended Rootstown High School. In 1959 he enlisted in the US Army.

While serving in the US Army in Germany he met his wife Elke Hauer. They were united in marriage on May 7, 1962 in Karlsruhe, Germany.

In 2004 William retired from West Penn Printing in New Castle, PA.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Elke, sons William (Fiance Lisa) Dye Jr. of Lordstown, Eric Dye of Berlin Center, Douglas (Tracy) Dye of Gallatin, TN, Chris Dye of Newton Falls, sister Velna (Ron ) Waite of Adams, WI, seven grandchildren Emily, Taylor (husband Casey), Morgan, Kendall, Mikayla, Luke, Nathan, one great grandchild Harlyn, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved German Shephard Gypsy.

Preceding William in death were his sisters Lucille, Violet and Vivian, and his brother Leonard.

William will be laid to rest at Hawley Cemetery with Pastor Tony Huggins and his immediate family.
