Vera M. (Robinson) Guthridge

Vera M. Guthridge, 94, of Newton Falls, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus.  On June 12, 1926, in Falls Creek, PA, James and Otie (Smith) Robinson welcomed the birth of their daughter Vera.

She was a 1944 graduate of Falls Creek High School. 

On January 8, 1954 Robert and Vera were united in marriage in Buffalo, NY.

Vera was a member of the Newton Falls Methodist Church. 

Vera was a member of the Hobby Club of Newton Falls and Lordstown, the Red Hats, the Altruist Club, and the Child Conversation League.

Cherished memories of Vera will be carried on by her daughters Beverly (Bob Jones) Connell, Carol (Jeff Martin) Gillium, both of Newton Falls, and brother James Robinson of Falls Creek, PA.

Preceding Vera in death was her husband Robert who passed away on April 13, 1999, her son Larry Guthridge, and her sisters Helen Ruth Dunlap, Mary Kear, Betty Slattery.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, February 3, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where services will be held at 1 PM.  Following services she will be laid to rest in Newton Township Cemetery.
