Thomas Capp Obituary

Thomas A. Capp, 61, of Youngstown, Ohio passed on Friday, January 18, 2019 at his residence.  Thomas was born on July 8, 1957 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Michael and Frances Capp (Apanasewicz).  He attended Lordstown Schools, was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and attended Youngstown State University.

He had worked in the machinist and tool and die trades.

In high school, he was active in sports, playing intermural basketball.  Thomas enjoyed playing golf and bingo.  He loved art and was an excellent artist and painter. His greatest joy was watching his great niece, Olivia, as she participated in volleyball, cheerleading and softball.

Thomas was an active member of Empowering Epilepsy Foundation and generously donated his time and talents.

Memories of Thomas will be carried on by his sister, Christine Finch (Gerald); his niece, Carissa Pyles (Timothy); great niece, Olivia all of Austintown and his sister, Mary Ann Behnke (Anthony) of Girard.

Preceding Thomas were his parents; his brother, Michael R. Capp, Jr.; his brother-in-law, Gerald E. Finch and his grandparents, Michael R. Capp, Anna Capp, Anthony Apanasewicz and Mary Apanasewicz.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Thomas to Empowering Epilepsy Foundation, 32342 Springside Lane, Solon, Ohio  44139-2059.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.

Interment will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield, Ohio.
