Stanley W. Cone passed away peacefully at Heritage Manor, Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Stanley was born Aug. 7, 1941.

He was a graduate of Jackson-Milton High School. He would then be drafted to the United States Army in 1963. Stanley was an E-4 specialist in the 1st Cavalry Air Division. Stanley proudly served in the Vietnam War, where he would earn his Purple Heart for wounds received in action.

After returning from war, he married the love of his life, the late Anna Lou Cone, on June 23, 1969.

Stanley is survived by three siblings, Lawrence Cone (Marilyn), Lila King and Patricia Westerman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was an active member of Lake Milton Baptist Temple, where he devoted many years as the co-superintendent of the Sunday school department.

Stanley was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan.

Friends may call at visitation, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Borowski Memorial Home, Newton Falls, with a service at 10:30 a.m.

A graveside service will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
