Shirley Jean Yaratch Obituary

Shirley Jean Yaratch, 70, of Garrettsville, Ohio passed at her daughter’s residence in Leavittsburg, Ohio on Thursday, August 22, 2024.  She was born on October 25, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of Gilford and Helen Cronauer Dean. 


Shirley was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School.  She had been employed in the food processing department of Stouffer Foods for twelve years.


While attending church, Shirley met her future husband, David J. Yaratch, Sr., whom she married on December 9, 1989.


Her favorite pastimes included reading and cross stitch.


Loving memories of Shirley will be carried on by her husband, David; her children, Robert (Brenda) Grabill of Champion, Angelia (Don) Webb of Leavittsburg, David, Jr. (Tarina) Yaratch of Columbus, Denise (Dan) Blechschmid of Aurora and Mike (Kendra) Yaratch of Howland; her siblings, Karen Reed of Southington, Ron Dean of Twinsburg and Jerry (Patty) Dean of Champion; her grandchildren, Aaron, Abby, Brandon, Caeley, Chrysta, DJ, Hannah, Harmony, Heaven, Hope, Hunter, John, Michaela, Rachael, Tyler (Taylor) and Victoria and her great grandchildren, Addy, Alysia, Judah, Karen, Layla and Suzy.


Family and friends may gather for fellowship to remember Shirley on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of Pentecost, 4363 State Route 82, Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.


Shirley will be laid to rest in Harrington Cemetery in Nelson, Ohio.


Donations may be made in memory of Shirley to the Abundant Grace Church Youth Group, 1623 West Park Avenue, Niles, Ohio 44446 or to the Tupelo Children's Mansion, a safe haven for children in need, 180 E. Main Street, Tupelo, MS  38804.
