Scott Alan Becker, fondly known as "Scottie" to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, after a valiant battle with his health. Born on September 1, 1955, in Brecksville, Ohio, Scottie lived a life characterized by his interesting personality, intelligence, and courageous spirit.

Scottie spent his formative years in the town of his birth, graduating from Brecksville High School. His passion for working with his hands and his remarkable attention to detail led him to become a highly respected certified welder. Scottie's expertise in his craft was not just a profession but a testament to his diligent work ethic and the high regard in which he was held by his colleagues. Scottie's zest for life was evident in his love for motorcycles and fast cars, a passion that brought him much joy and excitement. His childhood summers spent on Kelly's Island remained some of his fondest memories, where he developed a love for fishing and the great outdoors.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Kathryn Becker, and he leaves behind his loving children, Sabrina (Brian) Jodon, Stephanie (Dondi) Harper, Jeremy (Kristen) Becker, and Stacie Becke; his grandchildren, Jaliya, David, Dondi II, Kaiya, Ava, Mason, Sophia, and Jacob; and his brothers, Brian, Craig, and Kevin.

Scottie was preceded in death by his son Justin; his mother, Adella Wilson Becker and his father, Gerald Becker, who are undoubtedly welcoming him with open arms.

He faced every challenge head-on. His courage was not just in his battle with his health but in the way he lived every day with resilience trying to move forward from his past. Scottie shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Jax, who passed away in 2021. The two were inseparable.

As we bid farewell to Scott Alan Becker, we celebrate the turn-around he made and the love he had for his children, grandchildren and wife. Scottie's ashes will be spread at Lake Milton, where he loved to spend time.
