Ruth (Douglas) Mewbourn

Ruth Mewbourn, 77, of Lake Milton, Ohio Passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Austintown Health Care.  Ruth was born on June 2, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of John and Lora (Spur) Behon.

She was a homemaker who in her spare time she enjoyed playing BINGO, collecting figurines such as Betty Boop, and Elephants and scratch offs.

Ruth was a member of Lakeview Assembly of God.  She also was a member of American Legion Post 737, both of Lake Milton.

Ruth was united in marriage on June 1, 1996 in Lake Milton with Leslie Mewbourn.

Cherished memories of Ruth will be carried on by her son Russell Patrick, Jr. of Berlin Center, daughters Brenda (Billie) Mann of Fairfield, CT, JoAnne (Ames) of Florida, Dawn (Danny) Hile of Masontown, VW, and Brenda Patrick of Youngstown, OH, and Pam (Doug) Orr of Girard, OH, sisters Maryanne Gum of WV, and Jeanie Behon, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John, and brothers Tom, Chuck and George.

Services will be at the Lakeview of Assembly of God on Friday, May 27 at 10 AM.
