Robert "Bob" Hillegas Obituary

Robert E. Hillegas, 81, of Diamond, Ohio known as Handlebars to his friends because of his mustache, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Altracare in Kent, Ohio.

Bob was born on April 13, 1941 in Palmyra, Ohio, the son of John and (Bernedette) Fellbaur.

He was a 1959 graduate of Southeast High School. He was of the Catholic faith.

Bob was employed at General Motors.

In his spare time he enjoyed motor cycling and was a former member of the Warren Buckroos Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed playing horse shoes.

Cherished memories of Bob will be carried on by his sons Anthony (Belinda) Hillegas of Newton Falls, Robert (Mindy) Hillegas of Diamond, Ohio, daughters Christina, and Roberta, brothers Rich and Jack, grandchildren Parker, Taren, Caleb and Shane.

Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Debbie, brother Don, sister Irene, and sister in law Pat Hillegas.
