Robert "Bob" Douglas Doherty, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Douglas Doherty, Sr., of Warren, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on December 1, 1956 in Portland, IN, the son of Robert David and Janice (Landers) Doherty.

Bob was a graduate of New Castle High School. 

He was a member of the LDS Church in Champion.

He proudly served our country in the US Marines Corp. 

Bob was a guard for Brinks.

On September 14, 2002 Bob and Teddi Barton were united in marriage in Warren, Ohio.

He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, Cleveland Indians, and Bob enjoyed collecting hats.

Cherished memories will be carried on by Bob’s wife Teddi, sons Robert D. (Angelica) Doherty, II of New Jersey, and James Doherty of Warren, daughters Viola Doherty of Ellwood City, PA, Abigail Smith, Cherlotte (Larry) Bollinger both of New Castle, PA, and step daughter Susan Sarna of Lake Milton, 5 sisters, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 28 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio from 1 PM – 2 PM, services at 2 PM.

He will be honored for his service to our country by the Newton Falls Veterans Organization.
