Phillip Theodore Stanley, of Garrettsville, Ohio, known affectionately as Phil to his friends and family, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on February 18, 1964, in Ravenna, Ohio, Phil was a man whose gentle nature, handiness, and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Phil grew up in a bustling household, the beloved son of the late James and Kay Stanley. He was a cherished brother to Dave (Sue) Carroll, Peggy Belknap, Vicki (Rick) Hymes, Jamie (Dave) Binegar, Jim (Pam) Stanley, Dale Stanley, Wanda (Ronnie) Mclean, Tim (Danielle) Stanley, and Scott (Theresa) Stanley. The bonds he shared with his family extended to his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will fondly remember Phil's kind spirit and helpful nature.

A loving father, Phil leaves behind his daughters, Christiann (Eddie) Stanley-Geer and Alicia Stanley, who were the pride and joy of his life. His legacy will continue to live on through them and his cherished grandchildren, Derik, Dakota, Coler, Makenzie, and Cameron. The mother of his daughters, Darlene, remained a part of his life, and they watched their children and grandchildren grow. In addition to his family, Phil leaves behind very close friends, Barry and Sharon Humberson, with whom he shared countless memories and laughter. 

Throughout his life, Phil was a hardworking laborer who took pride in his ability to turn his hand to many trades. His colleagues and friends within the workforce will remember him as a dependable and skilled worker, always ready to lend a hand.

Phil found peace and contentment in the simple pleasure of fishing or just being outdoors. He was a man who could fix almost anything, never afraid to try.

As we say goodbye to Phillip Stanley, we celebrate the man he was and the memories he leaves behind. His was a life that exemplified strength, kindness, and dedication. Phil's spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
