Murrell DeBolt, Sr Obituary

Murrell M. DeBolt, Sr, 84, of Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Pennsylvania on January 22, 1937, the son of George and Goldie (Pierce) DeBolt.

Georgia Kline and Murrell were united in marriage on November 23, 1968 at the Newton Falls Methodist Church.

He retired as a welder for GM.

He loved talking and telling stories. Murrell loved nothing more than spending time with his family, grandchildren, and his dog Johnny.

Cherished memories will be carried on by his loving wife Georgia, son Murrell DeBolt, Jr, daughter Laurie (Timothy Bates) DeBolt all of Newton Falls, sisters Hazel Showers of Newton Falls and Shirley (Bob) Jones of Diamond, OH, and grandchildren Dennis, Stephanie, McKayla.

Preceding Murrell in death were his parents, son Daniel, grandson Cody, brothers Gerald, Harley, Russell, and Lester, and sisters Maxine DeBolt, and Ruby Shaulis.

Private services will be held.
