Michael J. Horner, age 66, of Ravenna, Ohio passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Michael was a devoted husband, proud father, and loving grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Horner; his three children, Heather Kramer, Michael Hirt (Danielle Hirt), and Daniel Hirt; his two granddaughters, Taylor Kramer and Piper Hirt; and his three step-grandchildren who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his three sisters, who shared countless memories with him throughout the years.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and ClydaHorner, who welcomed him home with open arms.

Michael had a passion for hobbies that kept his spirit young at heart. He loved flying drones, racing remote control cars, collecting oddities, guns and sharing his enthusiasm with others. He had a story for everything and could turn even the simplest moment into laughter. Whether showing off his newest gadget, telling one of his unforgettable tales, or just hanging out, Michael had a way of making people smile and filling the room with joy.

Those who knew Michael will remember his sense of humor, his warm heart, and the way he always made time for both family and friends. His presence filled a room, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His family and friends will carry his spirit with them always.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio. A luncheon will immediately follow at the American Legion Ravenna Post 331 in Ravenna, Ohio.
