Marshall N. Mathews

Marshall N. Mathews, Jr., 79, of Ravenna, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora.  He was born on September 20, 1940 in Freedom, Ohio, the son of Marshall N. and Mary (Bezik) Mathews, Sr.

He proudly served our country in the US Navy.  Marshall was a truck driver for 38 years, last working for Dillon Manufacturing before retiring.

He was a member of the Parkman Congregational Church.

He was united in marriage with Judith Ohl on February 17 1968.   Judith passed away on October 12, 2003.

Cherished memories of Marshall will be carried on by his sons Robert (Rebecca) Mathews of Bristolville and Jason Mathews of Ravenna, daughters Karey Baker of Southington and Michelle Wilfong of Hiram, brother Charles Mathews of Parkman, sisters Patricia Paxton of Burton, and Dorothy Fox of Chardon, ten grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Preceding Marshall in death were his parents, wife Judith, daughter Melissa Rae Mathews, and sisters Vera Mitchell, Ruth Lake, and Bonnie Nedelka.

Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery in Parkman.
