Margaret L. (Nightengale) Jenkins

Margaret L. Jenkins, 95, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Omni Manor Healthcare Center.  Marge was born on July, 2, 1927 in Lisbon, Ohio, the daughter of Oscar and Dorothy (Johnson) Nightengale.

After receiving her formal education she received a college degree and was employed as a school teacher for over 30 plus years with the last place of employment being Salem schools. 

Marge was a member of Lake Milton Baptist Temple. 

She enjoyed gardening, bowling, liked to socialize, writing letters, and sending cards.

Cherished memories of Marge will be carried on by her son Wayne (Pam) Gorby of Berlin Center, Ohio, brother Sam Nightengale of Idaho, sister Edith Lindasmith of Hanoverton, Ohio, grandchildren Brian Gorby and Michael (Abby) Gorby, step children Joseph (Barb) Zabloski, Jim (Linda) Zabloski, Judy (Terry) Bean, great granddaughter Sophia Gorby and step grandchildren Jennifer Zabloski, Ross Zabloski, and Taylor Zabbloski.

Preceding Marge in death were her husbands Kenneth Gorby, Joseph Zabloski, and Maxwell Jenkins, and sisters Florence Boone, and Norma Nightengale.

Family and friends may call on Monday, April 17 from 10 AM – 11 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where services will be at 11 AM. 

Marge will be laid to rest in Brunstetter Cemetery next to her husband Joseph.
