Malita M. (Davis) Kurtz

Malita M. Kurtz, 73, of Diamond, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her residence.  Malita was born on October 28, 1947 in Alliance, the daughter of Ray and Marian (Fast) Davis.

She was a 1965 graduate of West Branch High School. 

Malita worked for 16 years as a medical assistant in Ravenna at Independence Inc. and 25 years at Akron Children’s Hospital, retiring in 2013.

In her spare time Malita enjoyed gambling and gardening.

Cherished memories of Malita will be carried on by her special friend Chuck Steele of Ravenna, brothers Ray (Debbie) Davis of Virginia, Randall Davis of North Benton, Keith (Mari) Davis of Phoenix, and Lynn (Karen) Davis of Lebanon, Oregon, sisters Mary and Harold England of Beloit, Beverly and Bill White of Southington, Virginia Maloy of Girard, and Debra and Bill Conrad of North Benton.

Preceding Malita in death was her daughter Michelle Kurtz who was the love of her life, and sister Joan Miller.

Calling hours will be from noon to 1PM on Saturday, November 14 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, where services will follow at 1 PM.  Burial will be in Palmyra Cemetery.  Burial will be in Palmyra Cemetery.
