Madeline E. Hoffman, 93, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 of natural causes. Madeline was born on January 2, 1932, the daughter of Wayne R. and Elizabeth A. Fraser in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The family moved to Newton Falls, Ohio when Madeline was just a child and she remained a lifelong resident there. She attended Newton Falls Schools graduating with the class of 1949.

On October 18, 1952 she married Frank E Hoffman, Jr. and they were together until his passing, on October 10, 1997.     

A mother and homemaker, she also worked for many years as a teller for the local branch office of the Union Savings and Trust and later Chase Bank. Madeline enjoyed playing card games with her friends in the area and watching college football games especially her favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jack Fraser and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. 

Survivors include her sons, Gary L. Hoffman of Denver, Colorado and Mark A. (Aprile) Hoffman of Poland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Lauren (Nick) Noark and Kyle (Danielle) Hoffman and her two great grandsons, Ezra and Arlo Hoffman.

As per Madeline’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.   

Private interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
