Louise Carocci Obituary

Louise R. Carocci, 88, of Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 with her family by her side at her residence.  On July 23, 1933, in Layton, PA she was born the daughter of James and Doris (Cain) Rock.

On July 3, 1950 in Winchester, WV, Louise and Elio Carocci were united in marriage.  They enjoyed more than 55 years together.  Elio preceded her in death on May 15, 2006.

She was a proud 1970 graduate of Newton Falls High School.

Louise was an active parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church where she served as a leader of prayer, and Eucharist Minister.  She also was a housekeeper at St. Joseph and at St. Brendan’s in Youngstown for eleven years.

Her hobbies were reading, drawing, traveling, bingo and, without fail, she always remembered and acknowledged everyone’s birthdays, anniversaries and all special occasions.

Cherished memories of Louise will be carried on by daughters Sharon (Paul) Henning, Sandra (Russ) Mason, and Diane (Ken) McElravy, all of Newton Falls, her son Dennis Carocci of Niles, sister Mary Letizia of Girard, grandchildren Jason (Vi) Henning, Jennifer (Jim) Zimomra, Jessica (Chris) Sait, Michael Cybak, Lora Tarbay, Angela (Phil) Roundy, Jackie Waldorf, Megan McElravy, Ashley, Alex, and Bethany Carocci, and great grandchildren Alexandra (David) Walden, Ethan Henning,  Danielle Zimomra, Lilly and Leah Sait, Kaitlyn and Michael Cybak, Matthew and Mason Tarbay, Connor and Samantha Waldorf, Haylie McElravy, Adreana and Emersyn Carocci, Lauryn Comanescu and Kinslee Borlie, and great great grandchild Killian Walden.

Preceding Louise in death were her husband Elio, brothers James and Charles Rock, sister Betty Kovacs, and a grandson Jarid Mason.

Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, and Tuesday, August 10 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.  The Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary and St. Joseph at 11 AM.  Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Joseph Cemetery.
