Kenneth S. Shields

Kenneth S. Shields, 77, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge.  Ken was born in Pennsboro, WV, the son of Fred and Mildred (Ankrom) Shields on January 11, 1945.

Ken attended Newton Falls First Church of God.

He was employed for 37 years at Republic Steel as a crane follower.

Ken and Martha Billock were united in marriage at St. Joseph Church on June 26, 1971.

In his spare time Ken enjoyed drawing, walking and attending car shows.

Cherished memories of Ken will be carried on by his wife Martha, son Christopher Shields of Warren, daughter Grace (Tim) Shahan of Southington, Ohio, 7 sisters, grandchildren Dylan and Zachary Shahan.

 Preceding Ken in death were his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 30, 11 AM – noon at the Bernard P. Borowski Home where services will be held at noon.  Ken will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio.
