Judith A. (Harris) Roviscanec Obituary
Judith Ann Roviscanec passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2025 surrounded by her family in St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Judy was born in Warren, Ohio on September 10th, 1953 to Delores and Walter Harris. She was the fourth of five children (3 brothers and 1 sister). She lived in Braceville, Ohio her entire life. Judy graduated from LaBrae High School in 1971. She then married her high school sweetheart, John L. Roviscanec, on June 14th, 1971. They spent 50 years navigating all the peaks and valleys that came their way until John’s passing in November 2021.
They raised three children together, April (Darin) Morrison of Champion, Steve (Aimee Joy Herlinger) Roviscanec of Warren, and Andrew (Tabby) Roviscanec of Morgantown, West Virginia. Judy had eight grandchildren she adored, Anthony (Margo Young) Lambis of Akron, Ohio, Tylor Roviscanec, Maddie (Jake) Amrein of Cortland, Ohio, Luke (Cassidy) Roviscanec of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Jake (Natalie) Roviscanec of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, Haylie (Rhen) McConaughey of Champion, JJ and Damien Roviscanec of Morgantown, West Virginia; and her beautiful great-granddaughter she was so excited to finally meet in March 2026.
Judy attended Choffin School of Practical Nursing and graduated January 30th, 1981. She was so proud to be a nurse. She worked at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna and then Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls until an injury made her retire. Judy was an active member of Braceville Christian Church for 40 years and made many friendships in Christ. She loved studying the bible and worshiping God.
She loved to ride horses and roller coasters, reading, watching scary movies, taking care of her home and flower beds, taking vacations and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Judy was a sweet, loving, kind, beautiful soul with a stubborn streak a mile long. She will be missed by her kids, grandkids, sister, Eileen Patchin and her brother, Mike (Carla) Harris, nieces and nephews and her friends from the church. Gone but never forgotten and finally at peace.
Burial will be in the Braceville Township Cemetery.
