We are sad to announce the loss of our mother, Judith A. Barbone, on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the age of 82.
Judith was born January 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Roth R. Bingham and Mary E. Inman Bingham.
She was a graduate of Fitch High School.
Judith retired as a bus driver of 25 years for Western Reserve School systems in Berlin Center, Ohio.
She loved feeding the birds, planting herbs and vegetables. She also loved to quilt with her friends in Berlin Center; they had a group called the “Berlin Center Sew n Sew” and “The Quilters” in Deerfield, Ohio. They had won many ribbons at the Canfield Fair for their quilts.
Judith is survived by daughter, Wendy (Lou) Brothag of Cortland; James (Karen) Barbone of Ellsworth; her grandchildren, Jamie, Vince (Lexx), Nicole and Brianna (Joey); her great grandchildren, Sammy and Maisen; her great-great grandchildren, Gideon and Gemma; her three sisters and her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her husband, James Barbone; her partner of many years, Daris Gatrell and a great granddaughter, Dominique.
