John M. Minth, Jr., 69, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his residence.
On March 3, 1952 in Ravenna, John and Clara Ruth (Kelly) Minth, Sr. welcomed the birth of their son John Jr.
After receiving his formal education, he entered the US Army and served in Vietnam.
John was employed as a glass cutter.
He was a member of the American Legion, and the Masonic Lodge.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing music, story-telling, fishing and boating.
Memories of John will be carried on by his son Aaron Wilson of Paducah, KY, daughters Abbey (Brandon) Powell of Pekin, IN, and Maude Wilson of Gainesville, FL, sisters Cindy (Life Partner Tracy Brandt) Minth of Ravenna, Berneda Polly, and Debora (Harry) Calhoun both of Jenkins, KY., and grandchildren Aidan Webb, Landon Wilson, and Zane Powell.
Preceding John in death were his parents, sisters Jackie Taylor, Donna Lysyj, brother David Minth, and his brother in law Jimmy Polly.
Cremation has taken place.
