John Thomas Laney, 78, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away peacefully at his residence on July 16, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1946 in Derry, Pennsylvania.
John married his high school sweetheart, Beverly, on September 11, 1965.
John was a hardworking man who enjoyed gardening, casinos and trips with his wife, Beverly Laney.
He is survived by his two daughters, Annette M. Laney of Leland, North Carolina and Alison G. Laney of Newton Falls, Ohio; his two grandchildren and four great grandchildren all of North Carolina.
John is preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly C. Clark Laney; and his parents, John Fidelis Laney and Annabelle Ida Brodell (Laney).
He was laid to rest alongside his wife Beverly in Pineview Memorial Park.
John will be missed by his family and care givers. The family would like to thank the staff of Grace Hospice for their compassionate, gentle care in our final days together.
