John Ira Brewer, Sr Obituary
John Ira Brewer, Sr., 73, departed this life and entered into heaven to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, after fighting a battle with cancer. He was born August 14, 1950 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of George Thomas and Geraldine Mathilda Moore Brewer.
John was employed with D. Hamilton Trucking until his retired in 2014.
He loved dogs and he enjoyed working around the house and singing. He loved making memories with his family and friends, especially the little children.
John will be sadly missed by his wife, Sandra. Treasured memories will be carried on by his sons, John Ira (Tara) Brewer Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and James Thomas Brewer (Dale) of Newton Falls, Ohio; his daughter, Michelle Dawn (Chuck) Cooley of Streetsboro, Ohio; his step-son, Christopher Lee (Karen) Mullins and step-daughter, Amanda Marie Lake, both of Ravenna, Ohio. He also left behind his grandchildren, James, CJ, Christian, Isabella, Katie, Lola, Roger, Joel, Alison and his great-grandchildren, Carson, Raelyn, Blaine, Hayden, Hayzel, and Hudsyn. John will also be missed by his sisters, Dorothy Ann Lallathin of Shalersville, Ohio and Pamela Jean Workman of Newton Falls, Ohio, and he left behind many close friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donnie Ray Brewer; his sisters, Dora May Carrassco and Donna Fay Bryner.
Per John’s wishes, no services will be held and cremation has already taken place.
