Jeremiah Scott Madgett, age 40, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away on January 25, 2025. He attended Windham Schools and worked as a drywall installer/finisher for the past 24 years.

Jeremiah’s love for his children was demonstrated by his “make it happen” attitude: when they needed something, Jeremiah “made it happen”! He also took the time to know each child, participating in activities specific to each, as only a true loving father could.

Jeremiah was often found sitting with a cigarette in his mouth while playing guitar to country music or playing in the local band “If 6 Was 9”. He was a UFC enthusiast and often cheered for the underdog. He enjoyed fishing in hopes to land a walleye. And he truly enjoyed gaming with his family and friends, Miahman84 will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his girlfriend, April Bortz; five children, Tre (Rosie), Collin, Mason, Nevaeh, and Mya; two grandkids, Spencer and Jasiah; his mother, Maree Colian Madgett; and his brothers, James, Sean (Misty), and Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Madgett.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Shepherd’s Joy Ministry, 9736 E. Center Street, Windham, Ohio. Visitation begins at 12:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 2:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
