Jerad Scott "Jerry" DeWeese, aged 48, of Bristolville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, in Warren, Ohio due to complications from diabetes. Jerry was surrounded by his loving family when he passed. Born on June 17, 1976, in New London, Ohio, Jerry was known for his handy skills, infectious humor and kindness.

Jerry grew up in a close-knit family and loved spending time with them. His fun loving nature and ability to fix just about anything made him a beloved figure among his peers. Jerry's work as a truck driver was a testament to his love for the open road. In his personal life, Jerry's passion for the outdoors was evident to all in the moments spent fishing with family and friends, hunting and playing golf.

Jerry's legacy is carried on by his mother, Linda Gregory of Lordstown, Ohio, who instilled in him the values of family and love. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Raymond Gregory; his brother, Anthony "Tony" DeWeese; grandparents, Morton and Ada Sparks and several aunts and uncles. His memory will live on through his children, Emma and Jerad DeWeese Jr. His former spouse, Sara Barr DeWeese, shares in the sorrow of his passing, as they remained connected through their mutual love for their children.

Jerry's sisters, Tina (Dennie) Henderson of Newton Falls, Carla (Joseph) Click of Lordstown, Ohio, Stacy (Samuel) Williams of Lake Milton, Ohio, and Julie (Fred) McKendrick of Lake Milton, Ohio, will miss their brother deeply. His presence in the lives of his three nephews, seven nieces, four great nephews, and seven great nieces was a blessing, as he was a fun-loving and supportive uncle. Jerry also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will fondly remember his kindness and the joy he brought.

As we bid farewell to Jerry, we take solace in the fact that he joins his loved ones in Heaven. In honor of Jerry's journey through life, his family will gather privately to share stories, honor his memory, and say their final goodbyes.
