Jeffery Ryan Hillard Obituary

Jeffery “Jeff” Ryan Hillard, known to friends simply as Jeff, embraced the world with his wit and warmth from the moment he was born on January 17, 2005, in the industrious town of Warren, Ohio. His final curtain call came all too soon on February 26, 2026, in the very town that had proudly watched him grow. He was just 21 years old.

Jeff’s departure leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and the kind of creative jury-rigging that would have MacGyver taking notes. Growing up in Warren, Jeff was the kind of guy who could fashion a spaceship from a washing machine box, or at least make you believe he could with the power of his jokes alone. His work at Niles Manufacturing & Finishing demonstrated his knack for solving problems with flair and his ability to keep his coworkers chuckling even through the toughest shifts.

If ever there was someone who truly lived by the saying “Laughter is the best medicine,” it was Jeff. He was the unofficial comedian of every gathering and was known for a laugh so infectious it could turn a frown upside down from a mile away.

He was also a master of the impromptu snack, with a talent for turning last night’s leftovers into Michelin-starred munchies, provided they included his adored raw onions or, at the very least, a handful of candies.

Jeff’s interests were as varied as the many levels of his favorite video games. He delighted in all things electronic, animated both by the virtual worlds he explored and the real-world machines he could tweak and tune. A man whose heart raced for anything with tires, his passion for cars was rivaled only by his love for sweets, a testament to a sweet tooth that was perhaps the only thing sweeter than his disposition.

Jeff also loved spending time in the water and enjoyed swimming whenever he had the chance. Jeff’s creativity did not stop at his workplace or hobbies. His hands, always ready to build, repair, or improvise, were most tenderly employed in the service of his greatest achievement, his daughter Violet, a bright three-year-old spark in his life. She was the center of his world. Jeff loved being her dad, building toys, inventing games, and filling her days with laughter and imagination.

Jeff is survived by his beloved daughter Violet; his sisters Jordyn (23) and Jillianna (19); and Brianna, his significant other and the mother of his daughter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jamielee, who passed away in 2020.

Jeff was known as loving, funny, and creative, a combination that made him not only the life of the party but a bright presence in the lives of everyone around him. His laughter, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial will be held.
