Jane D. (Harding) Heltzel

Jane D. Heltzel, 89, of Newton Falls, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.  Jane was born on October 12, 1930 in Cleveland, the daughter of Roy and Elvira (Thompson) Harding.

On March 5, 1947 Jane and Harold “Mike” Heltzel were united in marriage.

She was a home maker who in her spare time she enjoyed working in her yard, puzzling, fishing, and social drinking.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grand kids.

Cherished memories of Jane will be carried on by her children Evelyn (Rich) Lemasters, Ralph (Cindy) Heltzel, Fred (Janet) Heltzel, Bill (Melinda) Heltzel, Cindy (Brian) Crowder, all of Newton Falls, Roy Heltzel of Shock, WV, Sherry (Buzz) Smith of North Jackson, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Jane in death were her husband Harold “Mike” Heltzel, daughter Joyce Knight, sons Mike Heltzel and Harold Heltzel, brother Jack Harding, and daughter–in-law (wife of Roy) Kathy Heltzel.

Friends and family may call from 10 – 11 AM, Monday, August 24 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.  Graveside services will follow at Newton Township Cemetery where Jane will be laid to rest next to her husband.
