Jane S. (Duda) Brasko

Jane S. Brasko, 96, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed on Friday, December 4, 2020, in Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Ohio.  She was born on August 22, 1924 in Arnold City, Pennsylvania, the of daughter of George and Veronica Kosiba Duda.

Jane was a homemaker and provided a loving home for her husband, Stephen, whom she married on June 8, 1945 and their five children.  

Her pastimes included reading, crocheting and sewing.  She was a long-time member of TOPS.  Jane enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.

Jane was a parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls, Ohio.

Loving memories of Jane will be carried on by her children, Stephen (Kelley) Brasko of Newton Falls, Thomas (Shirley) Brasko of Cortland, Barbara (Phillip) Beer of Newton Falls, Susan (Ted) Davis of Michigan and Kathleen (Ronald “Bill”) King of Newton Falls; her adored fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen in 1981 and her siblings, Mitchel, Joseph, Blanche Kowalezyk and Mary Holko; her grandsons, Zachary Brasko and Stephen Fetterolf.

Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at St. Mary and St. Joseph Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Rev. David Merzweiler as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paris Township.
