James "Jimmy" Myers, Jr. Obituary

James R. “Jimmy” Myers, Jr., 61, of Windham, passed on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the residence of his mother after a recent diagnosis of cancer.  He was born on October 21, 1958 in the United States Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of James R. and Helen J. Savage Myers. 

 

Jimmy had owned and operated Falls Auto Body and Detailing in Newton Falls, Ohio for many years.

 

He was a free spirited man who loved to ride his motorcycle, fish and play his guitar.  He would always help a friend or family member in need.  James was courageous and adventurous and he never backed out of a challenge.  He was well loved and made friends wherever he went.

 

Memories of Jimmy will forever live on in our hearts by his loving family, his children, James Myers III (Kelly), Jeremy Myers (Katie) and Jessica Domke (Ryan), his mother, Helen Valach; his fifteen grandchildren, McKenzie, Maddy, James IV, Kaylee, Alycia, Brianna, Cloe, Dylan, Jeremy, Jr., Jacob, Ryan, Jr., Damian, Jackson, Caden and Lyssa and his siblings, Debbie, Mike, Richard and Cheryl.

 

He was preceded by his daughter, Jodi Myers and his step-father, John Valach.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio.
