James Waller Obituary

James T. Waller, 55, of Warren, Ohio passed on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Trumbull Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 6, 1966, the son of Marilyn Allen Grounds and Charles Waller. 

Jimmy graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1984.  He had been employed at REM Electronics, relocated to Eaton Corporation, Raleigh N.C., then joined DNA in Raleigh N.C. which then moved him to Texas.  In Texas, he was employed as a Regional Sales Manager for DNA, where he was able to travel around the world, then moving to Florida.  He relocated to Warren where he resided near family after becoming ill with cancer.

He loved to roller skate and had won numerous speed skating competitions.  He also loved to travel, go to the beach, snow skiing and being with family and friends.  Anywhere there was a gathering you would be sure to see him there.  During the past few years, he spent a lot of time sitting on the back porch enjoying movie nights, fires, and family gatherings.  Jimmy touched many people in his life, he truly loved life.  He lived life to the fullest and never missed a beat. 

Fond memories of Jimmy will be carried on by his two children, Kaylie Waller and Michael Waller both of Texas; his sister, Deborah Waller Miles of Warren, Ohio; his half-brother, Jeffrey Waller of Wilmington, Ohio; his niece, McKenzie Miles; his nephews, Derek Higgins, Treylen Haynes and Keith Cruse.  Other surviving family members include, Robert and June Popham of Kent, Ohio; Richard and Lois Scroggs of Aurora, Ohio; Carol Sinn of Cortland, Ohio; Rev. Forrest and Marilyn Waller of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Dolores Kinn of Fostoria, Ohio and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Waller and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Grace Allen.

A Masonic Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. prior to family and friends visitation on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio, where a service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Gammon officiating.

Interment will be in the Newton Township Cemetery in Newton Falls, Ohio.
