James Burton Miller Jr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Deeonda Miller; his daughters, Alicia Miller and Cassandra Hughes, (Eddie); his father, James Burton Miller, Sr. and mother, Dolores Miller; his sister, Deborah Greenwood (Timothy); and his granddaughter, Addison Hughes.

He loved being with his family and enjoying activities with them. He loved his yearly family vacations and put much time into planning them to make sure we all had the best time. James enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, golf, tennis and picnicking. He loved going by the lake and having lunch.

James helped his family whenever needed. He was hard-working and had many abilities. He was a teacher, truck driver, and machinist. He worked on all our vehicles and put much time and effort into maintaining them. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and trading cars.

He was serious a lot of the time, but would every once in a while come out of himself and do something silly. He was all about having fun and doing things we enjoyed.  He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio, where a service will follow.
