James E. Gregory

James E. Gregory, 67, of Craig Beach passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on August 17, 1954, the son of Thomas and Edith Swartz Gregory.

After attending Jackson Milton High School, he went to work for U.S. Concrete and Pipe, where he was employed for over 30 years.  He would then be employed by Quality Switch, from where he retired.

He married the love of his life, Ardenia Spencer on October 6, 1973 and they shared over 48 years together. They had two beautiful daughters, Cindy (Jimmy Sanders) Gregory and Jamie (Josh) Sanders, both of Craig Beach.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards, sitting on the front porch, helping others with anything and everything, restoring classic cars, especially his 1938 Dodge sedan, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren, Breanne, Ava, Asher and grand-pup, Toby.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife; his two daughters; his three grandchildren and grand-pup; his sister, Diana Steele; and his brother, Tom (Lauretta) Gregory of Paris Township; his brother, Bill (Theresa) Little of Newton Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Olivia and Lana; and his brothers, David, Hoach, Mike and Frog.

On Monday, March 7, 2022, friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.  A service will follow visitation with Pastor DeWayne Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
