Gerald Allen Rigg of Warren, Ohio passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 72. After several months of declining health, Jerry died peacefully at Windsor House of Champion. 

Jerry was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 24, 1950 to father, Kenneth Rigg and mother, Birtha “Bo” Stafford Rigg. 

Jerry’s kind heart and generous soul turned those that met him into good friends. He filled a room with his booming laughter and rarely turned down a card game. Jerry’s numerous racing and demolition derby trophies account for where he spent much of his free time. His love of racing was only surpassed by his love for family. He was a proud father and grandfather, always delighted by time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Jerry will be dearly missed by three children, Stephanie (Brad) May, Tracy (Mark) Lomax, and Jay (Gina) Rigg, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his sister, Leeta Chervin and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Melissa, his son David and a brother.

A memorial service and celebration of life to honor and remember Jerry will be held at a later date
