George Edward Workman Jr., 69, departed this life and entered heaven to be with our Lord on May 12, 2021. He was born February 15, 1952 in Warren, Ohio to George Edward Workman Sr. and the late Edith Mary (Harvey) Workman.
George worked for Thomas Steel until retiring in 2009 after 30 years employment.
He enjoyed classic vehicles and going to the car shows. He also enjoyed airplanes and going fishing. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends making precious memories.
Treasured memories will be carried on by his wife, Pamela Jean (Brewer) of Braceville, sons George Edward (Barb) Workman III of Newton Falls, Chad Everett Workman of Newton Falls, Joseph Allen (Annie) Workman of Sanford, Florida, and four close grandsons: Dayton Brewer who lived with George and Pamela since he was 9, George IV and Michael of Newton Falls, and Blake Hallam of Fort Carlson, Colorado. He also left behind 2 more grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren.
George will also be missed by his father of Newton Falls, sisters Mary Lou (Donnie) Brewer of Newton Falls, Lena “Janet” Payne of Warren, brother Steve Allen of Warren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
George was preceded in death by his mother and son Gerald “Frank” Brewer.
Per George’s wishes, no services will be held and cremation has already taken place. Inurnment will be in the Braceville Cemetery.
