Frances Cherry D’Amico, 97, died April 26, 2020, at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus of Newton Falls. Frances was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on February 25, 1923, the daughter of Eldon and Lanie Richardson Cherry.
She graduated from Rich Pond High School in Bowling Green in 1941. Frances married Louis D’Amico in 1944 and moved to Newton Township in 1947, living there for more than 70 years. She also took pleasure in watching and feeding the wildlife at her country home. Frances’s wit, free and open-minded thinking, and knack for finding the good in others drew people to her, bringing her many friends of all ages and from different walks of life.
