Edwina M. Bell, 88, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was born on November 20, 1933 in Tuscarora , Pennsylvania, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Morsch.
Edwina was a 1952 graduate of Newton Falls High School. She also graduated from Trumbull Business School and worked for Warren City Income Tax and the Ravenna Arsenal. After raising three children, she went to work for LaBrae Schools as a Title I Reading Aide for twenty years. After retiring, she ran Buckeye Worm Farm for many years.
She spent many hours antiquing, collecting roosters, completing word search books, and embroidery. Her favorite song was “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Edwina will be dearly missed by her husband, Raymond of 68 years; her daughter, Claudia (Cy) Furlan of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania and her sons, Mark Bell of Niles, Ohio and Theo (Diane) Bell of Braceville Township, Ohio. She had four grandchildren, Noah Furlan of Boardman, Ohio and Sarah, Maelee, and Preston Bell of Braceville Township, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Frances, Mary, Eileen, and Katherine.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church at 131 W. Quarry Street, Newton Falls, Ohio. A mass celebrating Edwina’s life will be held at noon after calling hours and burial will follow the mass in the Newton Falls Cemetery.
