Edwin Fowler Obituary

Edwin Duane Fowler, 78, of Windham, Ohio passed away on December 31, 2021 at Grace Hospital in Parma, Ohio.  Edwin was born on March 19, 1943 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Albert and Lena (Wilson) Fowler.

After receiving his formal education he worked as a supervisor for Filmco for 40 years.

Edwin was united in marriage on December 23, 1974 with Joyce George.

Edwin was clearly very patriotic, self-sufficient and a strong willed man that shared his great sense of humor with everyone.  He was very passionate about sports and cars but, most importantly, he was a great father that loved his family and friends dearly.

Cherished memories of Edwin will be carried on by his sons Michael Fowler, Robert Fowler, Erik (Michele) Fowler, daughters Patricia (Jim) Knipp, and Tammy Fowler, brothers Richard Fowler, Gary Fowler, and Kevin Fowler, sisters Earlene Laymon, Renda Pettit, and Renee Seljan, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will also be remembered by his four legged friends whom he loved, Gizmo and Chopper.

Preceding Edwin in death were his parents and his wife who passed away February 14, 2007, and his brothers Ronald and Charles Fowler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter.

Cremation has taken place.
