Edward L. Woolf, 55, of Newton Falls passed away Friday, June 26 at his residence. Ed was born on June 20, 1965 in Chatham, NJ, the son of John and Sandra (Hoyt) Woolf.
He was a 1983 graduate of Chatham High School. On May 10, 2003 Ed and Jodi Kilgore were united in marriage in Windham.
Ed was a very devoted husband. He always loved spending time with his family. He loved animals. Small babies and animals loved him.
He enjoyed computer gaming.
Ed loved cooking on the grill, calling it his own religion, "The Church of Grill-ology", and would only use charcoal or wood, never propane.
Cherished memories of Ed will be carried on by his wife Jodi, sisters Victoria (Bruce) Bailey and Ann (Sam) Lingerfelt both of Kentucky, brother–in-law Nick Russo, sisters-in-law Heather (Don) Fall of Newton Falls, Joy Kilgore of Warren, Kerri Kilgore and Cheri (Floyd) Shiflett both of Ohio, in-laws Jim (Sandy) Kilgore of Newton Falls, LouAnn Kilgore of Garrettsville, and numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Preceding Ed in death were his parents who both passed away very young, and his sister Carol Russo.
Private family services will be held.
