Edward Millich, 88, of Lake Milton, passed away peacefully August 27, 2022, while in hospice care. Many of his family were close and nearby.
Ed was born on November 7, 1933, to the late Lazo Millich and Anna Tirpak Millich in Campbell, Ohio, where he attended Campbell Schools.
The day after he graduated high school, he started working in the heating, roofing and sheet metal industry for a small family, business. He was there for many years. He also worked at a local warehouse as a truck driver delivering electrical parts and for Gary Crim Inc. before his retirement.
Ed was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. He would come home from work every day and soon after on most days, he was out again, doing a renovation, building a deck, fixing a roof and so much more for many neighbors and friends. He never hesitated when it came to helping his family as well, and was always there for his daughters when needed.
Ed’s memory and love will live on through those who survive him; his wife of 68 years, Patricia; three daughters, Donna Millich of Groton, Ct , Terry Ann Conrad and Lisa Carney of Lake Milton; a sister, Rose Anne Millich of Youngstown. He was Papa to six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, with another on the way.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters and eight brothers, his son-law, and a grandchild.
There will be no calling hours or service, just loving memories of a good life.
The family wishes to thank The Hospice of Valley for the wonderful care they gave.
Please consider a donation to a hospice in Ed’s memory for the much appreciated work they do.
