Donna M. (Turner) Wargo

Donna M. Wargo, 88, of Newton Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 with her loving family by her side.  She was born on May 28, 1931 in Volant, PA, the daughter of Charles and Leona (Hedglin) Turner.

Donna was united in marriage with Steve Wargo who preceded her in death on October 1, 2000.

Donna was a member of the St. Mary and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

She was employed by Colvin Nursing Home for 27 years as a nurse’s aide.

Donna enjoyed crocheting, playing BINGO, camping, cooking, baking, watching Hee Haw and spending Holiday gatherings with her family.  Above all else Donna enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Cherished memories of Donna will be carried on by her sons James and Kathy of Clarkson, KY, Charles and Angel of Warren, and Robert, Terry and Andrea all of Newton Falls, daughters Stephanie, and Tina and John Haas all of Newton Falls, brothers Bill and Mary Turner of Mercer, PA, and Gene Turner of Sharon, PA, sisters Mickey Edwards of Valant, PA, and Phyliss and Gary Brenerman of Mercer, PA, 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren.

Preceding Donna in death were her husband Steve, son Ronald Wargo, and granddaughter Dakota Wargo.

Family and friends may call from 10 -11 AM on Saturday, March 21 at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where services will be held at 11 AM with Rev. David Merzweiler officiating.   Donna will be laid to rest next to her husband Steve in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home.
