Dillon J. McCoy, 26, of Southington, Ohio passed away Monday, April 27, 2020. He was born in Okinawa, Japan while his dad was serving in the Marine Corps. Dillon was the son of Mandy Manos McCoy and Paul McCoy.
Dillon attended Chalker High School in Southington and graduated in 2012. He loved sports. He was the captain of his varsity football and basketball teams. Dillon was elected as Football Homecoming Prince and Prom King.
He was recently employed in the steel industry.
Dillon was known for his diesel trucks and he loved to hunt and fish. He always caught the most and bagged the biggest.
Dillon was a caring and loving person who will be truly and sadly missed by his mom, family and friends. His memory will be held dear by all who had the opportunity to know him. It is sad he was taken away from his family and friends way too early; his potential was cut short.
Memories of Dillon will be carried on by his mom, Mandy Manos McCoy; his dad, Paul McCoy; his brothers, Tyler and Bradley; his sister, Ashley; his uncle, Tim Drury, who was like a brother to him; his cousin, Gavin Manos; his grandparents, William and Patricia Drury and Laura McCoy; his maternal great grandmother, Beverly J. Doan and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dillon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mike Manos, Robert McCoy and Paul McCoy, Sr.; his uncles, Christopher M. Manos and Mark Doan and his great grandparents, James and Mary Manos and Robert H. Doan.
A memorial service is pending at this time due to Covid-19. His uncle, Pastor Ken Doan will officiate over his Celebration of Life.
