Dianna S. (Furlong) Walker

Dianna S. Walker, 75, of Newton Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center.  Dianna was born on August 16, 1945 in Ford City, PA, the daughter of Elwyn and Wanda (Resinger) Furlong.

After receiving her formal education she was united in marriage with Harold “Butch” Walker on August 14, 1962 in Kittanning PA. 

She was a cafeteria manager for the Newton Falls Schools.  In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, and belonged to a card club.  Above all else she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She was of Protestant faith.

Cherished memories will be carried on by her husband Butch, son Jeffrey (Bethany) Walker, daughter Andrea (James) Czerniak, all of Newton Falls, her sister Barbara “Babs” (Karl) Hileman of Cortland, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Preceding Dianna in death were her parents, and a son Ricki.

Family and friends may call on Monday, August 2, from 5 – 7 PM and Tuesday from 10 – 11 AM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, where services will be held at 11 AM with Pastor De Wayne Smith officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Newton Township Cemetery.
