David Richard Ford

David Richard Ford, 64, of Lordstown, Ohio passed on Monday, October 25, 2021 with his family by his side in St. Joseph Medical Center in Warren, Ohio. David was born on August 25, 1957 in Warren, the son of Richard W. and Hazel M. Lutz Ford.  He was one of seven children.  He lived in Lordstown most of his life and graduated from Lordstown High School in 1975.

David owned his own truck and was contracted as an Expediter for FEDEX.

He was a fan of all types of racing and an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  One of his favorite pastimes was helping other people.  Dave enjoyed spending time with his several nieces and nephews.

David is survived by his two sons, David II of Warren, Ohio and Chad of Youngstown, Ohio and his grandson, Jaxson Poulson.  He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Phyllis Hadley (John) of Statesville, North Carolina, Janet Rodgers (Jerry) of Lordstown, Joyce Prokop (Don) of Lordstown, Diane Hawkins (Rick) of Euharlee, Georgia and his brother, Glenn of Warren, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home, where a service will follow with Harold Blackann officiating.
