Danielle R. Adams Poling, 37, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. Danielle was the beloved wife of Derrick Poling, loving mother to Zoey, Avery and Dominic, daughter of Jeffrey and Deanna Adams, sister of Tiffany Adams, and daughter-in-law of Sue, Dave and Judy Poling, step-mother to Darien Poling, and sister-in-law of Tela and David Poling.

Danielle was born at Euclid General Hospital on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1987. She grew up in Mentor, Ohio, and graduated from Mentor High in 2005. She accomplished much during her short time on earth. She worked at Blazin’ Bills in Grand River and Hiram for several years, then at Time Out Sports Bar in Windham for thirteen years. During that time, she studied at Ohio Christian University. When her children were little, she would go to work before opening so that she could do her school work quietly, and received her Associates in Arts degree in 2020. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2022.

She married Derrick Poling in 2019, and resided in Garrettsville. She worked for the Windham School District as a substitute teacher and loved her time with children of all ages. Although her greatest role was always that as mother to her three children; she also made friends wherever she went and enjoyed her many friendships.

Danielle showed great strength, determination, and a deep, unwavering faith in God’s will as she fought her long battle against cancer, and she never let her disease get the best of her.

Family and friends will honor her life on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, Ohio.

During this difficult time, her family will accept donations to help offset funeral costs and help provide for her children.
