Daniel Moore Obituary

Daniel Edward Moore, 63, of Newton Falls, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 16 at Portage UH Medical Center.  Daniel was born on November 4, 1959 in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of Henry and Zonola (Anderson) Moore.

He attended Buckeye North High School in Brilliant, Ohio.

After high school he served our country in the US Air Force.

Dan was employed as a boiler operator at NLMK for more than 20 years.

Lisa Kimpton and Dan were joined in marriage March 9, 1991 in Newton Falls.

He was a parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church and served as a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

Dan was the US Campaign Manager for the Kistizi Good Shepard in Uganda and participated in construction of a new school building and modern dormitories for boys and girls.

Cherished memories of Dan will be carried on by his father Henry Moore of Florida, wife Lisa, son Danny (Jennifer) Moore, daughter Ashley Moore, both of Newton Falls, Kelley (Joshua) Boorn of Florida, brother Clayton Moore of Newton Falls, sisters Susan Barnhart of Florida, Christine of Smithfield, Jeanie Pierce of WV and JoEllen of Cadiz, and grandsons Logan, Liam and Landon.

Preceding Dan in death were his mother Zonola, and niece Ella Jo.

Family and friends may call on Friday, November 25 from 6 PM - 8 PM at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home.  Services will be on Saturday, November 26 at 11 AM at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church.  Military Honors will follow the Church service.
