Claudia Hawk Clegg, 83, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.  Claudia was born on May 24, 1941 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Raymond and Wilba Dabney Hawk. 

She attended Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing in Sharon, Pennsylvania and the St. Elizabeth School of Anesthesia in Youngstown, Ohio and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.  Claudia was employed as an anesthetist for Bel Park Anesthesia for twenty five years and also for Doctor’s Pain Clinic for fifteen years. 

Claudia was a member of Bailey Road Baptist Church working in AWANA for thirteen years.  She also held a membership at the First Community Church in Leavittsburg, Ohio.

Loving memories of Claudia will be carried on by her husband, Robert W. Clegg, whom she married on September 26, 1981; her children, Dan and Getta Daughenbaugh of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, David and Joan Daughenbaugh of Palm Bay, Florida, Bob D. Clegg of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Rhonda Clegg Bigelow of Austintown, Ohio; her ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the First Community Church in Leavittsburg, Ohio from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Jaros officiating.

Claudia will be laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery in Newton Township, Ohio.
