Christopher Allen Reshonsky, 40, of Edinburg and Brimfield, gained his wings unexpectedly on Sunday, October 23, 2022.  Chris was born in Medina, Ohio on September 5th, 1982, to Andrew Reshonsky and Sherri Waller. 

Chris was a beautiful soul with an infectious smile, who never knew a stranger. His love was extended with his gift of helping everyone and doing whatever he could for them. He was smart and talented, loved working with wood, creating beautiful things, fishing, dirt bike riding, swimming and watersports. He enjoyed football and wrestling with his son and watching his girls’ dance recitals. Chris was a significant part of the family business that he loved, as a mechanic and semi tow truck driver. He was excited to get new tools. Suffice to say, he liked working with his hands. Above all, his love for his family was undeniable.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ronald L. Reshonsky Sr., Joseph W. Farrenholz, and William C. Cantrell; his grandmother, Josephine “Dolly” Waller; and his uncle, Ronald L. Reshonsky Jr.

He leaves behind his father, Andrew Reshonsky of Brimfield, his mother, Sherri and step-father, Michael Waller of Rootstown; his grandmothers, Gail Cantrell of Edinburg, and Sandra Farrenholz of Brunswick; his brothers, Jeremy (Nicole) Reshonsky of Deerfield, Brandon Waller of Lakewood and his sister, Andrea (John) Reshonsky of Brimfield; his greatest love, his partner in life, Stephanie Dietch, and their three children, Braylon, Isabela, and Ariana Reshonsky.  He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Christopher was loved by many family and friends. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A short service will be held, immediately followed by a celebration of Christopher on November 3, 2022 at the Deerfield Town Hall from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
