Charles “Chet” Dillow, 59, of Newton Falls, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at University Hospital Medical Center in Cleveland. Chet was born on July 25, 1961 in Mayfield, the son of Charles and Myrtle Brock Dillow.
Chet and Phyllis Fabian were united in marriage on April 16, 1986 in Cleveland.
He retired as a Union Roofer.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Westerns, especially John Wayne movies, listening to music, racing Greyhounds, and above all else he enjoyed spending time with his grand kids.
Cherished memories of Chet will be carried on by his son Charles (Lori Plott) Dillow of Newton Falls, daughters Kerri (Brent) Derecskey of Newton Falls, and Monica Fuller of Greenville, PA, brothers Steve (Nan) Dillow of Nelson, OH, Jamie (Laura) Dillow of Aurora, OH, sisters Kim (Dan) Mendolera of Newbury, OH, Mona Klazko of Newton Falls, and Karen (Victor) Wasiltschikow of Aurora, OH, and grandchildren Owen, Ella, Grace, Natalya, Mya, Zoe, Layla and Jackson.
Preceding Chet in death were his parents and his wife who passed away April 5, 2010.
Family and friends may call from 2 – 4 PM on Saturday, May 15, at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls with a service at 4 PM.
