Charles Casto King, 83, of Palmyra, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Portage UH Medical Center.
He was born in Orma, WV, on May 18, 1939, the son of Russel and Dessie (Cottrell) King.
He was employed by and retired from GM.
He was married to Dollie Schoolcraft for 62 years.
In his spare time Charlie and his wife Dollie enjoyed attending Blue Grass shows. He also enjoyed restoring old cars, gardening and yard work.
He cherished spending time with his son’s family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memories of Charlie will be carried on by his wife Dollie, son Gregory (Mary) King of Florida, sisters Shirley Riley, Sharon Lane, both of Orma, Shelia Hall of Parkersburg, WV, Jewel Cunningham of Frametown, WV, brother Cecil King of Orma, grandchildren Danny King, Mike King and Heather (Zack) Harley, great grandchildren Charlie, Milo and Gracie, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Charlie in death were his parents Russel and Dessie, and his sister Charlotte. Sears.
Private graveside services will be held at Palmyra Cemetery.
