It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles (Chuck) Glen Willis of Kent, Ohio, who left us suddenly on February 11, 2026. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 25th, 1980, to Michael and Susan (Pastorius) Willis.
Chuck was a beloved son, nephew, brother, cousin, and uncle. He touched the lives of his loved ones with his witty and sometimes dark humor, creativity, empathetic heart, and lifelong love of learning.
Chuck graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in Classical Language.
He had a passion for music, 80’s memorabilia, Cleveland Indians baseball, reading, animals, (especially cats) and video and photo editing.
He is survived by his father, Michael Willis; brother, Steven (Rachel) Willis; sister, Mary Willis; nephews, Devon Willis, Patrick Willis, and Jeremiah Willis; nieces, Helyn Willis, Sarah Willis, and Sylvia Willis, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins who will forever cherish their memories of him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Pastorius.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on March 28, 2026 at the Octagon Shelter, 801 Truxell Road, Peninsula, Ohio. We invite you to come share a memory, photo, or a story with us.
